A 15-year-old boy from Maryland has invented a new test for detecting pancreatic cancer in its early stages. After coming up with an idea and doing tons of online research, Jack Andraka knew he needed to test his idea in a lab. He sent an email asking for help to 200 professors. Dr. Anirban Maitra, Professor of Pathology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins University, agreed to help him. What has become a life-changing story for Jack may turn out to be a life-saving story for you.

I’m trully excited about this very important break through in cancer testing, especially for pancreatic cancer!!!!! I lost my beloved mother to pancreatic cancer in 2006, and I always asked my self why wasn’t there something that could have been done sooner!!!! And doctors told us that pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest cancers to detect early or on time to really do something about it. This news has filled my heart with hope that this is a big step toward one day ending pancreatic cancer as well as all cancers once and for all!!!!! It’s sad to lose a love one to cancer and the horible feeling that there isn’t much we can do. Buts thanks to people like him and other who don’t give up and try and try, will save many lives and keep many families together longer. Today I cried tears of hope and joy!!!!!!!! Love the news, way to go . My reguards for your friend who passed away, you helped make a difference and put and end to a lot of people suffering needlessly from this pancratic and ovarian cancer. Maybe you can find out a detection and something for kidney and polycycstic ovaian cysts too, and find out why , it is linked to insulin resistance, now treated with metphormine, a diabetic drug. Maybe you could link up with that doctor you mentioned took an interest in you, he also is on the right track, we are making strides now do not give up, I thinkyou, have the cure to it around the corner , work with this man and you will not only make a difference for tests but a cure and an end to suffering.
