One Minute Moral Case for Private Health Care in Canada

Brilliant and compelling case against the state monopoly on healthcare. The most amazing thing about Canada is that I can spend as much of my income as I want on cigarettes and alcohol, even if my money comes as social assistance from hard-working taxpayers. But if I spend money that I earned for an MRI or colonoscopy that may save my life, I have breached the Canada Health Act. Only the collectivist mind could see reason or justice in such an absurdity.
